A specialized Portal developed for this purpose ( www.results.nic.in(External website that opens in a new window) ) forms the front end of this mammoth ICT exercise, and has been extremely popular with students and parents who no longer need to throng the notice boards anxiously to search for their roll number, and can check the result from the comfort of their homes or a nearby cyber cafe. Important announcements for students are posted on the web portal both prior to the declaration of the result and after it is launched on the Net. The process of accessing the results is quite simple. The student simply needs to type his/her roll number at the appropriate place and the result/mark sheet is displayed on the screen.
